In addition to the ring, the scope of delivery of the tanking basic also includes a customizable counter holder, which is installed depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even when tanking is attached, which makes it easier to use in everyday life.

The basic tanking differs primarily from the lock-it system by the type of locking. While the basic tanking is mechanically locked, the lock-IT system also support magnets to center the backpack. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

In addition, it should be noted that tank bags and counterholder must be system -compatible. A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with a basic tanking and vice versa.
