The scope of delivery of this product includes tanking and a customizable counterholder, which is attached to the tank bag depending on the specific tank shape and handlebar. Access to the tank cover remains easily possible with assembled tanking.

Characteristics of the tanking basic

• The tanking ensures a firm hold, even at high driving speeds.
• The operation is carried out by a mechanical lock that ensures simple handling.
• The tank bag is easy to put on the tanking and locks itself with a clearly audible click.
• The unlocking takes place via a belt on the front part of the tank bag in the direction of travel, whereupon the backpack can be easily removed.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for tank sack systems.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The recommended maximum payload of the tank bag is around 3 kg.

Differences to other tankring models: The basic tanking works purely mechanically, in contrast to Lock-IT fueling, which also uses magnets for centering. The basic structure of the metal ring is identical in both variants.
