This practical motorcycle accessories from Hepco & Becker, the Tankring Basic, is specially designed for the Aprilia Pegaso 650 Strada model from 2005 to 2009. The tanking enables a safe and easy attachment of Hepco & Becker tank bags to your machine.

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and a customizable counter holder, which is mounted on the tank bag according to the tank shape and the handlebar. Even with attached tanking, access to the tank cover remains without restriction.

The installation of the tanking does not require any further components, apart from a compatible tank bag for the motorcycle model mentioned.

Technical details and operation

• The tanking guarantees a firm hold, even at high driving speeds.
• The tank bag is attached by a simple mechanical locking, which conveys an audible snapping when the backpack puts on.
• The unlocking is carried out by a belt on the front part of the tank bag, which makes it easy to remove.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for tank sack systems.
• Recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h.
• Recommended maximum payload in the tank bag: approx. 3 kg.

Further information

The basic tanking differs from the Lock-IT tanking by its exclusively mechanical locking, while the Lock-IT also uses magnets to center. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but the screwed -down domes (plastic or magnet) are different.

Please note that tank sac countertakers and tanking must be of the same system to ensure compatibility.
