The GIVI TANKLOCK tank bag from the X-Line series is specially designed for the MULTISTRADA 1200 models from 2015 to 2018. This motorcycle accessory is characterized by its variable size from 15 to 20 liters, which allows for flexible adjustment of the storage space.

Material and construction

The tank bag is made of high-strength 1200D W/R polyester, complemented by TPU inserts that offer high resistance to environmental influences. The thermoformed cover and the case base contribute to the robustness. The outer material is also UV-resistant to ensure color fastness under sunlight.

Features and functionalities

The bag has numerous features that make it particularly practical to use:

• A card compartment with Fidlock® magnetic closure, quick to open and water-repellent.
• A removable inner bag, also with a waterproof rating of IPX5, protects the contents from heavy rain.
• Drainage holes in the bottom of the bag prevent moisture accumulation.
• A separate external pocket area allows quick access to smaller items.
• Cable bushings are compatible with the GIVI Power Hub charging system.
• Reflective elements increase visibility in low light conditions.

In addition to its main function as storage space, the tank bag offers secure attachment to the motorcycle. A specific tank ring (not included) is required to mount the bag securely and without slipping. A shoulder strap and a handle make it easier to transport away from the motorcycle.

This accessory complies with REACH regulations, making it an environmentally conscious choice. Safety straps for attaching to the handlebars and padlock provisions provide additional security.
