Overview

The GIVI 848 Sport-Touring TanklockED tank bag in black offers a capacity of 5 liters and is designed for years 07-12. This model is equipped with a security lock that offers additional protection against theft.

Material and construction

This tank bag is made of thermoformed EVA coated with 600D polyester and PU. The materials are UV resistant according to ISO standard 4892-2:3013, which requires 500 hours of exposure in a closed chamber with Q-Sun Xenon test. In addition, the materials used comply with the REACH regulation.

Fastening and security

The tank bag uses a special fastening system (TanklockED) with a security lock that is attached to the tank ring BF_ _ (not included). The lock is compatible with the security locks of the GIVI top cases and side cases as well as the trolley plate and the tool box. Security is further increased by the ability to assemble or disassemble the product without a key, with the key only needed to secure it when unattended.
