Product description: Tanking Basic for Aprilia RST 1000 Futura

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the Aprilia RST 1000 Futura motorcycle model from the construction years 2001 to 2003. This product enables safe and easy attachment of tank bags from the same manufacturer.

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and the corresponding counterholder, which is installed depending on the shape of the tank and the handlebar on the tank bag. Even with assembled tanking, access to the fuel cap remains without restrictions.

All you need is the tanking for assembly, together with a suitable tank bag for the model mentioned.

The assignment to specific motorcycle models can be assigned via the "Mein Bike" database. If no specific tanking is available, you can see from a manual examination whether a universal tanking ring is suitable.

Differences to Lock-IT fenkringen

The basic tanking only works mechanically, while the lock-IT fueling also uses magnets for centering. Apart from the screwed-up plastic or metal components, the metallic floor rings of both models are identical.

It should be noted that tank bags and counterholder of the lock-IT system are not compatible with the basic tanking and vice versa.
