The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the Aprilia RST 1000 Futura, construction years 2001 to 2003. This product enables a safe and practical attachment of a tank bag directly to the motorcycle.

Content of the scope of delivery

The scope of delivery includes the tanking basic and an adaptable counter holder. The counter holder can be installed on the tank bag according to the tank shape and the handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with fueling fueling, so that the handling of the motorcycle remains uncomplicated.

Compatibility and installation

The tanking and the tank bag are specifically designed for the Aprilia RST 1000 Futura model. A simple assembly is guaranteed and no further adjustments are necessary. The tanking is mechanically locked, which enables reliable and audible fixation of the tank bag. To loosen the backpack, a mechanism that is located at the front of the backpack is operated.

Differentiation characteristics to other tankingen

In contrast to the Lock-IT fueling from Hepco & Becker, which are also equipped with magnets for the centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both tanking variants use the same model -specific metal ring.

It should also be noted that tank bags and counterholder of the lock-IT system are not compatible with the basic tanking. It is important that both components come from the same system.
